Bio of the Presenter

Chankeekumar P. Shahane is working as a middle school teacher with experience of 11+ years in the teaching of English to Primary and Upper primary grades.

Abstract

Hybrid or blended learning is any combination of in-person and remote learning. After the global school lockdown due to the COVID-19 pandemic, teachers have been exploring a variety of hybrid learning modalities to continue the learning of students. In this presentation, I will present the background of my learners in terms of the use of technology before lockdown. Further, I will discuss the need for hybrid teaching during the lockdown and strategies that I used. Finally, I will reflect on my strategies to analyse the strengths and areas of improvement.
